Who runs Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io
Bitcasino.io launched in 2014 and, together with Sportsbet.io, is part of Yolo Group. Because the brands are mid-transition to Yolo.com, we do not include them in our ranking until that process is complete.
Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io licence check
Earlier research placed these brands under an Estonian licence. The registers do not support that. Bitcasino.io claims Curaçao CGA licence OGL/2023/111/0069, held by Moon Technologies B.V., which appears in the register edition of 26 June 2026. Separately, the Anjouan register lists EZ Spins Ltd as licensee for both bitcasino.io and sportsbet.io, valid until 29 September 2026.
On Estonia's EMTA list of legal gambling operators, yolo.com appears only under Bombay Club and Resort OÜ, and neither bitcasino.io nor sportsbet.io is covered; yolo.com itself showed as 'closed permanently'. Because the licensing previously attributed to the brands does not match the registers, we classify the result as a mismatch.
How popular are Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io?
The pair remain sizeable on paper, with an estimated $776 million in tracked deposits over 12 months (lower bound), but day-to-day on-chain activity is now modest for brands of that history.

- Match the licence in the footer (CGA or Anjouan) to the relevant register, and after 29 September 2026 check whether the EZ Spins licence was renewed.
- Disregard reviews that still describe these brands as licensed in Estonia.
